okay sikin, I have read a review of your article, here I want to ask if there is a child who has reached adulthood can be said to be 5 years old but the grammar or formation said he is not clear, so what about that? and what about the level? while in the article the 2-year-old child is at the word formation level

For example, Clark (1981, 1982) has documented that even 2-year-olds appear to use processes of derivational word-formation quite productively as evidenced by their overgeneralization errors. Similarly, Slobin (1985) notes that Turkish 2-year-olds demonstrate almost errorless learning of a complex set of agglutinative affixes in their language. In considering word formation in language development, there appear to be two central issues which can broadly be characterized as questions relating to (i) productivity (refers to the extent to which people actively create words), and (ii) constraints.
BalasHapusSo, it depends on productivity. How often the kids use the same word again and again. It depends on constraints also. It might be the thing that make grammar and formation of kids 5 years old not better. So,the level of the kids we can determine by their way using the word and add the affixes.
I ask how with children who are the age of 5 years but not clear in the establishment of the word. What penyebabya?
